We are Thrilled to Receive a Travel Weekly Magellan Award
Our goal is always to provide our guests with an extraordinary cruise experience. We’re heartened when guests tell us that they’ve always wanted to cruise with us because of our stellar reputation. And, we are delighted when they tell us after their voyage that this was the best cruise they have ever been on. We are always looking at ways to make Paul Gauguin Cruises even better, from the m/s Paul Gauguin’s recent multimillion-dollar renovation to the launch of our new ship, the m/v Tere Moana this December.
It is also nice to be recognized within the travel industry for our efforts. We recently received word that The Gauguin had earned a 2012 Travel Weekly Silver Magellan Award in the Small Cruise Ship category. Travel Weekly is recognized as one of the most important and influential sources of news, data, and commentary to the travel industry.
The publication’s Magellan Awards is its premier awards program and represents the best in the industry, honoring a broad range of industry segments including hotels and resorts, travel destinations, cruise lines, online travel services, airlines and airports, travel agents and agencies, tour operators, and car rental companies. We are humbled and honored to have received this recognition. Check out the full list of winners at www.travelweeklyawards.com or in the October 15, 2012, issue of Travel Weekly magazine.
This award adds to a collection of accolades bestowed upon Paul Gauguin Cruises this year. Our most recent distinctions include one of the world’s “Top 20 Small Cruise Ships” by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler, the “#2 Small-Ship Cruise Line” in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards, and the “#2 Small-Ship Cruise Line for Families” from Travel + Leisure.
We also received the “Best Single Social Media Promotion” in the Cruise Line Category for our “Meet Me in Tahiti” campaign, winning a Social Media in Travel and Tourism (SMITTY) Award from Travel + Leisure. Cruise Critic also awarded Paul Gauguin Cruises this year “#1 for Best Shore Excursions,” “#2 for Best Dining,” “#3 for Best Embarkation, Entertainment, Service, and Value,” and “#4 for Best Overall, Best Cabins, and Best Fitness” in its Cruiser’s Choice Awards. We look forward to continuing to provide our guests with the ultimate in quality, luxury, and service.
