Sales Approach: Neelie and Neils had the pleasure of traveling to Tahiti several years ago, staying on the islands of Bora Bora and Moorea with a small group of clients and friends. Since that time, many other clients showed an interest in going to Tahiti again or for the first time with Neelie leading the group. Neelie saw the value of a Paul Gauguin Cruises sailing that offered a $100 per-person Shipboard Credit, as well as enticing group pricing. Marketing of the trip included a destination presentation by Director of Sales Liz Coleman at Cary Travel Express’ annual travel show, advertising in the agency’s Groups Travel brochure, and a mailing to more than 500 homes. The promotion was a success, and clients gave very positive feedback for their cruise experience. It was a true WOW!
