My approach with clients is very personal and I usually accompany my groups. Over the years, many of my clients have become more than just clients. They are considered friends and family. In my culture, people can turn any event into a party, so inevitably, I get calls from the friends of my clients who wish to join us. The word-of-mouth is what I have come to rely on to grow my groups. It starts with an Evite invitation to join the cruise as well as a post on my Facebook page and it takes off from there! I also like to plan at least a year and a half to two years in advance. This gives everyone time to plan, budget and make payment(s) on their trip.
