Please note that not all shore excursions are available on all sailings. Descriptions and pricing may vary.  Shore excursions will not be available for pre-booking until approximately 30 days prior to sailing (with the exception of the Romantic Escapades excursions) and can be added to your booking via the "Manage your trip" online tool. By Aquaplane: Taha'a and Bora Bora Flightseeing (30 minutes flight)

Your bird's-eye view of Bora Bora will include spectacular views and photo opportunities of one of the world's most beautiful lagoon and reefs, along with manta rays and sharks, an adventure some call Heli-snorkeling. You will then circle Mount Otemanu, Bora Bora's highest peak.

Continue south and see the less developed part of the island. During your flight you might also spot dolphins, sharks and stingrays in the crystal clear waters of the lagoon.

Lying just 30 miles North of Moorea, Tetiaroa is the breathtakingly beautiful atoll comprised of a dozen idyllic islands surrounding a spectacular lagoon. Fly over the graceful atoll and spot The Brando, an exquisite private resort as well as the pristine natural landscape hosting many different types of birds, coral and marine life.

Finally, you will land back at Temae Airport where your transfer will return you to the pier. Don't forget to ask your instructor to do a horizontal 360 degrees turn and experience the increase in gravity.

Please note: Only one guest pilots the plane from the start to the end of the flight and no seats exchange is allowed. The maximum number of guests per flight is 1 instructor, 1 pilot (guest) and 2 passengers, the maximum combined weight per group is 210Kg/460 lbs. Minimum age not required, however to fly the plane, children must be accompanied by an adult and be able to reach the plane pedals. Booking deadline is 4 days before the date of the flight. The transfer from the pier to the airport and back depends on the number of guest attending the flight and is not included in the tour price. Transfer cos is $30- per person round trip. Not recommended for pregnant women, guests with heart problems, and no diving allowed 24 hours before the flight.

If you love photography, then don't miss this unique and exclusive half-day guided photo tour of Moorea with accomplished professional photographer Renaud Fayada.

Depart the pier aboard a private, off-road vehicle, accompanied by Renaud, who will offer photographic tips and interesting information about the island throughout the tour.

Begin with a drive to the interior of the island, along large pineapple fields and past sub-tropical forests dotted with ancient archaeological sites. En route, a stop will be made at Belvedere lookout point for spectacular views and photo opportunities of Rotui, a beautiful mountain separating Cook's Bay and the pristine Opunohu Bay.

Next, you will ride along the coastal road to the island's west coast, where you will take in expansive views of lush green vegetation, beautifully manicured gardens, a turquoise blue lagoon, and the Pacific Ocean's endless horizon.

Weather permitting, you will see sites that include the famed Magic Mountain, which overlooks the northern part of the island and offers spectacular aerial views of the barrier reef. Highlight of this photo adventure will include visits to off-road locations in the island's interior. You'll also visit the Papetoai fishing village and the interior of the crater.

Please note: A maximum of seven guests will be permitted on this tour, which will be adapted to the weather forecast and the light of the day. As this tour involves travel over bumpy surfaces, guests with back and or neck problems, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilize a wheelchair are discouraged from participating. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a camera.

Catamaran Sail & Snorkel

Explore Moorea's beauty from above and below the water during this relaxing sailing and snorkeling excursion aboard a catamaran. Depart the pier aboard the beautiful, 43-foot catamaran, and sail to Moorea's northern coast, then on to a pair of French Polynesia's most beautiful bays: Cook's and Opunohu. En route, you can sit back and relax, or savor a fruit juice under the canopy astern. Upon reaching Opunohu Bay, the captain will drop anchor in the clear blue waters of the lagoon. After receiving your safety and snorkeling instructions, you will have the chance to discover the underwater tiki place and the marine life residing there, including coral formations and reef fish. Afterward, you will set sail toward Cook's Bay before returning to your ship. The well-equipped catamaran offers facilities that include a restroom and shower, and a shaded area with comfortable seats.

Please note: Entry into and out of the water is by a vertical ladder, aft of the catamaran. Sailing time and itinerary is subject to wind and current conditions. You will be required to remove your shoes upon boarding the vessel. Wear a swimsuit under a cover-up, and bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and a towel from the ship. Bring also your snorkel gear from the ship. The itinerary may change subject to wind and weather conditions. Kindly note that the use of sails is weather dependent

Catamaran Sail (Bora Bora)

Get onboard a catamaran and indulge yourself with a breathtaking cruise in the most renowned lagoon of Bora Bora. Thanks to the shallow draft, Catamaran will take you to shallow areas, over multiple shades of blues and turquoises of the lagoon. While your crew set up the sails for a magnificent sailing, feel the sea breeze as your eyes discover beauty of the Pearl of the Pacific. As you pass along the lagoon, enjoy the view over Mount Otemanu, Bora Bora's famous mountain and keep an eye open for the underwater life, it is time to jump for a swim. After your swim and snorkeling session you will continue to enjoy the sail back to the pier.

Please note: Bring a swimsuit sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and a towel from the ship. Bring your snorkeling gear from the ship. The catamaran is fully protected and equipped with two restrooms, shaded area, a sound system, cushions, outside and inside fresh water showers, and ladders to get in and out of the water. Kindly note that the use of sails is weather dependent.
