This day spent discovering the fascinating and vibrant culture of Bali begins with a picturesque drive to Tohpati Village for a demonstration of Batik cloth processing. Arriving at the village you'll have a unique opportunity to observe skilled artisans at work as they use the different methods of applying the colors and printing to the fabric. Along the way, a stop will be made at Batu Bulan Village, where you will have a chance to admire the most popular Indonesian dance, the Magical Barong Dance. It is a story telling dance, narrating the fight between good and evil. This dance is the classic example of Balinese way of acting out mythology, so enjoy the myth and history being blended into one reality.

Continuing on, you'll travel to a Traditional Balinese House Compound. The house, consisting of 3 areas, each building has its own function and such compounds are rarely found in modern Balinese life. The Balinese home is often viewed as a living organism. Much like a human being, it has a head (the ancestral shrine), arms (the sleeping quarters and living room) and legs and feet (the kitchen and rice granaries.) This up-close look allows you a glimpse into conventional Balinese life. Your final tour stop is at the Bird Park. This amazing attraction is where you'll find the largest collection of Indonesian birds in the world, as well as many varieties from Africa and South America. Covering nearly 5 acres of botanical landscape, the Park provides sanctuary to almost 1000 birds of 250 different species. Taking an innovative approach, the birds are showcased not only in their natural habitats and large walk-in aviaries, but also as free range throughout the Park. Adding to the Park's appeal is a remarkable display of tropical plants and trees which also serve to attract a significant butterfly population. Following your time at the Bird Park, you'll re-board your coach for the relaxing drive back to the pier in Benoa.

Visit Bali's famous Kuta Beach, known as Bali’s number one sunset site. Every late afternoon hundreds of people gather to watch the spectacular sunsets and enjoy a meal of fresh seafood from one of the many beachside cafes. Kuta Beach is on the western side of the island's narrow isthmus. It is considered Bali's most famous beach resort destination. Kuta Beach is also minutes away from the Ngurah Rai International Airport in Tuban. The nearby resorts of Tuban, Legian and Seminyak are all within close walking distance. Once a simple, rustic and quiet fishing village, Kuta Beach has witnessed a transformation over the past years, due to the rise of various accommodation options, dining and shopping scenes. The rapid growth owes much to visitors, beachcombers and art lovers from nearby Australia. Expatriates also helped pioneer surfing in Kuta, as well. A rather frenzied traffic scene has become commonplace here. Even so, Kuta Beach continues to attract thousands of visitors every year with its unique charm.

Depart Benoa for the southernmost part of Bali to the famous Pura Luhur Uluwatu, undoubtedly the region’s most illustrious temple. This fascinating half day excursion provides an excellent opportunity to discover Bali's intriguing world of Gods and temples, along with its traditional arts and crafts. Traveling along a scenic route from the pier, you'll first make your way to a popular batik workshop. This lovely Balinese tradition has been passed down for generations and at the workshop you will have an opportunity to admire the distinctive artistry and technique that goes into producing the famous batik cloth. There will be time afforded here to shop for a souvenir to take home. Then proceed to the magnificent Royal Temple, found in the town of Mengwi which was once the center of a powerful kingdom. A spectacular landmark of historic architecture built in the 17th century, Pura Taman Ayun served as the family temple of the Mengwi dynasty, whose kingdom survived until the late 1800s. This wonderful temple complex includes a wide moat, exquisite wooden shrines and beautifully carved gates, making it one of the area's main attractions. Re-joining your coach, it's a leisurely drive to your final stop Tanah Lot, Bali's most photographed temple. Also referred to as the Sunset Temple, the impressive black lava towers of this sacred 16th century temple are dramatically situated on a rocky outcrop that extends 656 feet offshore. Surrounded by pristine aqua waters and the white surf that crashes against the rocks, it's easy to see why this location has become a favorite with photographers.
